Deweyville vs. Hull-Daisetta Game Thread/Deweyville wins!

Daisetta's defense is HORRIBLE. All 11 players are no more than 3 yards off the ball, all the offense has to do is get a hand on them and It's TD! IF they stop the run just throw it over the middle, the LB's are shooting the gaps without reading the play and there is no safety! Run a straight dive pass and the TE is wide open.

But as for all this crap talking about the "historic" bobcats, win some games or a district title and make the playoffs...then you can talk. Yall better just stick to baseball

We dress out 20 players on our Varsity, HD had 27 on their sidelines so the size wasn't the issue.  The jabs are directed because HD posters for the most part chirp all week leading up to the game, then when they lose its nothing but excuses.  Take the defeat and learn how to swallow some humble pie and maybe the jabs will be less frequent.  ;)

[/quote]I for one can take the jabs just fine.  Just wish I would have taken opportunity to get my jabs in all the years HD won (trust me it would have been a lot of jabs.)  Enjoy the W, hope to see you again next year.

HD only has a varsity though, so the players on the sideline are the rest of the program. Numbers don't mean much though, cuz both teams started their best 11 deweyville's was Just better.
On another note, can someone tell me why HD didn't practice today after getting their butts whipped? they may have an open week, but they have PLENTY they could be working on!

I believe the jest of the Pirate posters is that there is a poster from HD that has no respect for any team or community in SETX, if he does he certainly never shows it.  He's known to talk a ton of smack and when the results don't go his way, he brings up the past and the long winning streak from the 40's or whatever.  Or in this case, bails completely.  Anyway, congrats on the win Pirates.
