Ok all lets see how much noise we can make on opening kick off. come on all lets be loud..............................fans are we ready.............
What is it with dayton and that saying? is it like a catch phrase or something? no disrespect intended. i'm just curious.
it's one of those back and forth type cheers. A crazy-haired band kids yells fans are you ready and they respond with oh yeah! after a few of those the drum line gets after it for a little bit, then they do cheerleaders are you ready...., steppers(drill team), band, etc.

during playoff time it's pretty good. Dayton fans are a little more subdued otherwise.
Lol that's pretty cleaver. I don't remember that from 09.

Last year at WOS V BC game in Bridge City there was more cop than I have ever saw at a football game. They were all 100% of them watching the WOS fans. One of the punk cops came into the stands and took one of the fans into custody. Said that he was to loud. I was setting four sets away and did not ever notice the man until the cops came and got him. That when I took notice of what was going on. There were cops station all over the stadium watch WOS fans. I am still wondering why. Got any ideas?  >:(

You just described our country. About 85% of our country want one thing, and believe one common cause on an issue, but it's the 15% who speak the loudest who changes our country! Don't allow that 15% to control what you want to do (and believe)!

I agree, but myself and a few friends of mine used to attend the WH games regularly. We would never miss. About 8-15 of us would sit together and would yell so loud all game long we couldnt talk the next day. We'd leave with headaches, but it was so much fun. Never any profane comments made and nothing severely derogatory for that matter.. Not about the kids, anyway. "Cmon Ref, are you blind!?!?". Or "what are you doing, coach!?!?" was about as mean as it got. ...then, out of nowhere, after about 4 seasons of being the "cheerleaders in the stands"  several of us recieved letters in the mail telling is to tone it down.  We were out of hand and were too "rowdy" for a family environment.  Needless to say, it took the wind out of our sails and our spirit section dispersed.  :(
The players would always compliment us, the fans would rally behind us, but apparently someone had a problem with our volume and our over-enthusiastic demeanor. We still go to every game we can, still support our team whether they're 2-8 or 8-2, but we don't yell like we used to.  ... It's actually kinda sad.
Yeah I agree... what can they do, kick you out of the stadium for having spirit for your team? I think it is great that grown men and women can get together and have some good clean fun on a Friday night. I wouldn't stop if I was to receive a letter like that. Whom ever sent you the letter is a goober. Stand your ground..

We got the "whoooo hoooo" ladies....NUF SAID
Whats the story with these ladies??? If you listen to Cool 92.5 you hear em the whole broadcast!!!
They are older ladies who attend every game and [s]sit[/s] stand on the top row on the 50 yard line and they cheer for the team no matter what.  If it is an out of town game you can also count on them to be at he game EARLY waiting in line to get their seat.  They are great supporters of the PNG football.

No these ladies are nothing new.  They have been supporting PNG football for years and years.  Before the stadium renovations they were in the middle some where but when they got the chance to be up top with no one behind them they took it.  They way no one could complain about them standing up the whole game.

I am going out on a linmb here, but I guess my "Jasper Sux" shirt would not be welcome?????  :D :D :D  What about my "Save an Eagle, Eat a Red Bird" shirt?  or "Kat's Make Great Tamales" Shirt?

What's the Obama world coming too?

All that being said, this is probably the deadest BH crowd I have seen EVER.  May be because only one of our games was even close, but not sure.  Maybe when we "sclap" some Injuns or "De-Claw" the kitty-cats it will improve.
