The second game of "Saturday Night Lights - 2011" features a battle of two Orange County teams as the Bridge City Cardinals travel to Vidor to take on the Pirates!  Both teams come into this game 1-0 as Cris Stump's Cardinals started off the season with a 61-3 pasting of Shepherd while the season opener had a little more drama involved for Jeff Mathews and his Pirates as they defeated Texarkana, Texas High with a 30-27 overtime victory.

IMO, BC passing game will be affected with rain and the high winds. Vidor will keep it on the ground...not that BC can't run it, it will mess with the passing though.......gunna be a awesome battle!!! ;)

Guys, just spoke with Mike Sanchez who told me that due to the weather, they are having problems with the signal getting to the satellite.  They are working on it, but they will not be on at kickoff and will be joining the game in progress.
