I don't know what validity there is to any of these "leaving" comments, but EVERYONE, parents, players, and fans alike need to support this new coach and give him every opportunity to succeed at EC. Regardless what opinion anyone has of the [i]districts[/i] hiring process, Coach Sutherland should be fully supported.

[/quote] nothing to do with coach sutherland at all ...hope he does a great job at ec and he has our support .... i was just told about the  varisty  running back and saftey and jv qb from last yr

The fans of East Chambers were in a great position as they had 6 named finalists, 4 of which had been spoken of highly (only Mack Brown and David Wells amongst the finalists were completely unknown entities) on this board and elsewhere.  Any of those 4, Coaches Sutherland, Foreman, Kroecker, Huckabay would have been capable of continuing the Buccaneers' winning ways, if not improve on them.  For Coach Sutherland to be able to set himself ahead of these others in the eyes of the ECISD, I think says volumes for Coach Sutherland.

I think the folks around Winnie will be alright.

corey and jeremy roberts jeremy finished up in liberty

Corey and Jeremy Roberts were originally from Liberty.  Jeremy transferred to Dayton at some point in his career and had to finish up at Liberty due to discipline issues.  That kid could've been great.  That season Liberty had a backfield that featured Roberts and another kid that could've been great that went to Liberty due to discipline issues at Hull Daisetta.
