I've read the book and seen the movie. They were both over-rated.

Besides a quality win over G Ball during a tournament, tell me one quality pitcher/team BH has beaten on a Tuesday night or any night for that matter?  You gonna hang your hat on that 7-5 barn burner with Dayton or your big win over rel? How'd Seeley pitch for rel? Oh wait, he didn't!

How about Clear Springs?advanced 5a team that is having a decent run Episcopal? Div 1 pitcher going to Rice and lose by 1 run. That suffice... Other schools #2 or maybe #3 pitcher will be better off than GP #1

No. still a tie or loss or whatever. but just proving a point that they have sticks against good pitching and can get the job done on less errors. Against Episcopal they had 6 errors 2 of them causing 3 runs. Clear Springs they had a pass ball that scored the 4th run to tie the game. BH has beaten themselves if they have lost. It is District time and they have tidy up their play and are obviously doing well enough to be tied for 1st in district.
Who has GCM played prestigious... just wondering. esp in district. their 4-0 hasnt been contested yet. BH beat Lee

It isnt one game dwelling. it is the fact they played a district winning contender. Patriots will get a taste of a real game tonight.
Even if they win this one they will be 5-1 after this week.
