Smith had his best stuff and Lasalle looked good..The boys hit the ball well against the best pitching Nederland has seen in 3 years...Lost second game to a questionable call at the plate and when Robbins questioned the call the umpire said "you question my balls and strikes he will be safe every time" :o And said it loud enough for everybody to hear.. troper Posted February 25, 2011 Report Share Posted February 25, 2011 That is the best I have seen the Dogs hit the ball in a long time. Raines went completely off. He ended up with only two hits, but every at bat he punished the ball. He hit 1 home run and a double, and two more home runs that were foul. We saw that Robbins has plenty of pitching already here, and two more coming from basketball. You had to be please with what you saw last night.
