Some started off with a bang and then fizzled badly. Is 2 for 11 good enough to keep a position you can't really play anyway? Or will the coach try other people next weekend?
edog check your PM before you destroy what little camradarie we have.. ;)
You are right.

That you said bc's coach treats kids right
Who is the coach at Bridge City?
AAW, think it's Chad Landry.
You think or do you know?
Well, I was in the room when he was born.
Thats some funny stuff right there!
 3. Austin Stone will help keep PNG on the right track. He is a really good baseball player and a great kid. I just don't think that PNG has enough players like him. The dogs are loaded!
 4. WOW! Both PNG and BC have great programs and really good coaches, baseball men who treat the kids right. But, if you think either one of those teams is better than the Dogs right now, you haven't seen them all play. The Dogs played against good 5A teams this weekend and did great.
 5. 1. Nederland 2. Port Neches 3. Bridge City No other team is really sticking out right now. These three are the class of South East Texas right now. The others are far behind.
 6. Not meant to be a shot at any kids at all. The Dogs played really well. Pitching was way better than you could have expected this early in the season. I was really impressed with the bats too. Coaches decisions really make you question whats happening in the program. This is a tremendously talented group of kids who should go a long way into the playoffs. You have got to be excited about Bulldog baseball this year. Sonnier is the leader this team needs, he is really coming through for the younger kids. Babs is really impressive behind the plate. Senior leadership will be one of the keys with this group, and I think the seniors will come through.

 8. I have been to all 3 games we have played in the Cypress tournament. I believe this is the best I have seen Nederland hit the ball consistently. Babs is on a tear. Smith is a monster with the bat right now. Broussard has been much better at the plate than I anticipated, he is doing well. Either the teams we have played so far can't hit real well, or our pitching is great. All pitchers so far have done real well. We have given up 6 runs in 20 innings played. When we get the kids back from basketball, this should be a great year for the dogs.
 9. That is the best I have seen the Dogs hit the ball in a long time. Raines went completely off. He ended up with only two hits, but every at bat he punished the ball. He hit 1 home run and a double, and two more home runs that were foul.  We saw that Robbins has plenty of pitching already here, and two more coming from basketball. You had to be please with what you saw last night.
 10. Coaches can kill chemistry too. Putting kids on varstiy who have never had to prove themselves. Putting kids on varstiy for reasons other than earning it. That can kill team chemistry faster than anything the kids are parents can do. The coach has to be smarter than that.
