East Texas Wildcats @ Kville stadium

I know this is a high school thread but if anyone gets interested in the new Minor leauge football it will be High School fans.  What is the interest out there in this team. They are having practice saturday at 2:00 if anyone wants to check it out.

I went and watched them practice. Jerome Tyler (Lil Will's big bro) is playing but has a seperated shoulder and will miss the first game. I met the owner and head coach. They are very hopeful that the lure of a little more football will put some fans in the stands. Players from Kville, Newton, Nac center and Lufkin. Some of these guys can get a second shot at doing well and some will just get to live in their glory days a while longer. Either way it should be fun to watch.

I've got a list of players in the Kirbyville Banner this week. Looks interesting! Another player from Kirbyville is Deon Ford. KHS Class of 2000, I believe.

I played with him in HS.  Make me want to get back out there but I know better.  I got beat up enough as the QB in those days I don't need to be reminded.  ;D
