Guest mffl
Heard we have a TE commit from Deere Park, maybe it's this guy?? bigred360
He needs to get in with a good strength and conditioning program and gain about 50 pounds. However, he is pretty fast for a TE with a 4.5 forty and athletic with a 34 inch vertical.Lamar could use him like the Colts use Dallas Clark. TradinUp BH
Nice, it seems like the kid has some smarts to have the likes of Rice and Stanford on his radar. This would be a big pick up as well.

He has great hands and won't drop the ball then he takes off and runs tough. His speed will limit what schools he will get offered by and make being D1 tough, his hands and route running skills are above average.[/quote]http://recruiting.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=8&c=1&nid=5235560

bigred360
If he runs a legit 4.5 as a TE and can catch the football we have a sleeper here. Still not very big 6-1, 210 lbs.

OnlyMyAlias
Payden has quite a few Youtube videos posted. Just google his name or search Youtube: Payden McVey. He was a helluva blocker for a primarily running team, but they threw to him when they needed more than a few yards for a first down (around 500 yards for 2010). He won DPHS O Line MVP his Junior year for his pancake and "de-cleater" blocking and he won DPHS Receiver MVP this year (senior) at Deer Park HS for his receiving. They also played him at Def End and Linebacker at times when they needed pressure on the QB. One of only 10 players (out of hundreds nominated) in the entire Houston area selected as a finalist for 2010 Offensive Player of the Year (won by eventual 5A state champ RB from Pearland) and ... Nat Honor Society (very smart kid!). He's just over 6'1", 220, but is very explosive and plays a lot bigger than that. I think he's a real sleeper and great signee for LU!
