The lack of bench play realy hurt the Rebs. They only had 3 players scoring and in the 4 qr those 3 just ran out of gas. 32 for the Rebs tryed to play but you could tell he has been setting for 2 weeks. He only played about 3 min. but had no movement and no legs.He is averaging 11 points a game but last night he only had 1.  # 10 for HF was a nice emprovment for the horns at the point. He opened the 3 Qr with 2 back to back 3s and cut the 10 point lead that Evadale had to 4. HF coach used his bench and looked to play 9 or 10 kids, and they just out ran the Rebs. Cant wait to start playing teams our same size. 3 and 4a teams just have more horses in the barn.

Okay I gotta say this: It was weird after the game last night. The majority of HF fans just kinda sat there after the buzzer sounded to end the game. Not sure if the Evadale crowd scared us or we were acting as if not sure if we really won the game :)

[/quote]Dove if it was the Evadale crowd that scared anyone, I assure you that no one here entended to do that. We think it is very fortunate to have 3 and 4a clubs willing to come and play us. Some people think that a bigger club has nothing to gain by playing a small school. I think that the game will help both clubs in the furture. Just wish that we could have play with our whole club healthy. #32 has been out for 2 weeks and during that time we have gone 1 and 6, so hopefully he will be back at full strength come dist. play

I disagree. Even 2A and 3A teams don't mind an easy 'W' every once in a while. Evadale is an easy 'W'. Good teams play through injuries, they don't rely on just one player to be successful. It looks like that may be the case.
