It's not even December and where are all of the SETX football teams?  This region needs to step it up next season.  I appreciate all the hard work  put in by the players and coaches this season.  You guys definitely make my 6 dollar ticket worth every cent.

How about $10 bucks face value to watch Katy and Northshore?  I got a ticket for sale if you want it.  Will even take $8.00.  ;D

This isnt anything new Tyrone :D 90% of the SETX teams are 2 and done at the most(4-A). The only surprise to me this year was CENT gone in the 2nd.

You and me both, we should of had that game,,But hey the past is the past and nothing you can do now..
Also about the 409 thing, La Marque is 409, so they are SETX
So basicly what your saying is, if you have or live in the 409 area code then you are considered SETX. Right?
here is a link to the areas that use the 409 area code in Texas.
right.. but DoRightTrojanFan asked if Coldspring was considered SETX and he got a yes answer. They are not 409 so therefore they are not SETX. I was just pointing that out. ;)

All of Houston was 409 back in the day. I think the only part was inside 610 loop that was 713. Then they added 281, then when cell phones came out and got super popular, they added 832. i remember in college(back in 2000) I was at UH and my new cell phone was an 832 number. Back then, all 832 numbers were cell phones only. Now I believe its mixed. Cool thing is, when I get a call from houston, I can normally tell what part it is. If its 713, I know its inside of 610 loop, and 281 is outside.

Inside the lop calls normally ring different too.  West side of "inside the loop" says, "hey big boy, I am ringing you".  East side of "inside the loop" says, "Cuz, pick up your phone Vato."  Outside the loop says, "Howdy."  ;D

    • I will never understand why someone cares what decisions a family makes regarding their own child? Maybe Joe Burrow learns great life lessons from burning up all his eligibility sitting behind Justin Fields at Ohio State but I’m sure him and his family feel like they made the right decision by transferring to LSU, becoming the #1 pick and now being the highest paid QB in NFL history. Same for Kyler Murray, Baker Mayfield and Jalen Hurts at their first stops.    I think it was more beneficial for Reggie Branch to transfer to Crosby and end up having an opportunity to play for a state title versus staying at GCM and learning life lessons while he loses and probably doesn’t go D1 because his team is a perennial loser. If Robinson throws for 2k yards this year it’s going to be a lot better for his recruitment purposes than sitting on the bench at BH, not to mention he’s going to get significant looks because of the kids he’s on the team with and the offers/commitments they’ve already made. He’s not being taught to run from competition, he’s being taught to gamble on himself just like all those other guys I mentioned did.
    • You have found Utopia. I live in the real world.
    • Every Yuppie wants one.  Give me a V-8 with loud pipes, and they can have their electric vehicles.  Was working a major incident one day and we had a road blocked off.  Police vehicles with lights going and a kid pulls up in a Tesla.  He - let me stress that HE is sobbing uncontrollably because he is at 5% battery life and HAS to go down the road we have blocked to get to a charging station.  He pulled over and literally threw a temper tantrum because we would not let him through.
    • Have you noticed that it's always the libs that bring up race?  For a long time now whenever a lib is losing an argument or have nothing else to say they bring up racism.  Or something silly like institutional racism.  LOL!
    • Ha!  Whatever that means!
