Actually, Kountze played in the Evadale tourney last year, defeating Orangefield in the championship game 83-57.

[/quote]I didn't go over there last year :)For several years it had a great field with Silsbee,HJ and EC playing in it every year.Kountze usually went up to North Texas to play in one on that weekend.

Evadale Tournament
Thursday, Dec. 2
G1: Bridge City vs. Deweyville - 10:40a
G2: Kountze vs. Hamshire-Fannett - 1:20p
G3: Buna vs. Orangefied - 5:20p
G4: Evadale vs. G1 loser - 8p

Friday, Dec. 3
G5: G2 loser vs. G3 loser - 9:20a
G6: Evadale vs. G1 winner - Noon
G7: G2 winner vs. G3 winner - 5:20p
G8: Evadale vs. G5 loser - 8p

Saturday, Dec. 4
G9: Consolation - 9:20a
G10: 3rd Place: G7 loser vs. G6 loser - 2:40p
G11: Championship: G7 winner vs. G6 winner - 6:40p

They have to win the game between who ever wins the BC and OF game to make it to the Champ game..They got a buy in the first round because they were hoping to still be playing football. They are also playing in the losser bracket just to get more games in.
