WOW! I didnt realize he was this close to breaking this record I if i can remember correctly Earnest Beans career yardage was 5,532. I know Ford passed the 4,000 career yard mark a few games back he must have been averaging 300 yards(like he did against us) per game! I will check up on his career total and be back to tell you how close he is ;)

I thought that he had some yardage from his freshman yr.  I could be wrong but I thought that he got some playing time in the playoffs for sure.

UT was interested in him from the end of his Soph yr into his Jr yr then they backed out.  From talking to several people the reason Texs backed out is because of the ammount of "body's" they have at RB.  You have Newton(Soph), Whittaker(Jr), Johnson(Jr), Monroe(Soph), Whaley(fresh) Shead (fresh), and Brown incoming.  It became a need issue and they got the guy they were after in Brown to commit.  

Sorry Scooter, just ain't going to happen.
