I truly think that for the first time in modern history, NS is a little worried about this game.
I think so too, NS can't walk on the field anymore and expect the opposition to faint. I just think we have work just as hard, and have prepared just as long for this season, we have executed the offense and defense to darn near perfection. Ns's fans are even on the fence about their team.
this may be the one year where Aymond has to actually build his team up to win a playoff game.

Talent wise, I give the edge to NS but PAM has the homefield advantage.  This game will be won or lost between the ears.  It may come down to a coaching decision for Aymond or Harrison.....
totally agree

This is gonna be a great game. Im a homer for sure but i would pick PAM regardless since NS has put in a new offense(spread go figure). That long ride down I-10 after losses to PAM and Brook made them realize these Golden T cats are not afraid of Da Show. Both teams will have to bring it.
I'm taking my chances, Gibson the Qb is their leading rusher, i'm putting 8 in the box, make them pass the ball, they have less than 500 yds passing on the season, on top of that he has compleated only 46% of is passes, they're gonna have to be more balanced than that to win.

PAM's D is the reason they win this one.

You have a guy who made a gameplan to shut down Peyton Manning and did it and won the national title. yes--PEYTON MANNING.  2 weeks to plot on NS? you kidding me? It wouldnt surprise me one bit if if he does it to NS. This aint a national title game, state title game or game to make the playoffs, this is the first district game. VERY important to win the first one. You lose your first district game your confidence might be shot the rest of the district slate. You win the first one you might just be opening up the flood gates to race through the district. IMO

I know alot of people consider North Shore a big deal in the district but to be honest they are NOT...they do have a good reputation around the state for having good programs but MHS has always beat NS when they played them. Just look at it like this MHS has beaten NS in football and basketball every time they have played.....look it up.....Now I said that to say MHS will go into this game like they have the last 5 games: HUNGRY, MOTIVATED, AND LOOKING FOR 50

I dunno Scooter, I still think this will come down to the mental part of the game.  So far, Kenny hasn't had to make a real time decision for either a first down, or a defensive stop.  Made good half time adjustments, especially against Alice, but no in game decisions as of yet....

IMO, since we are all speaking freely, I think PAM may have showed a little too much in this preseason/predistrict/whatever...you guys think PAM was trying to get in the AP polls?  with the "Cream puff" schedule who will be more ready for this game...PAM or NS?
I think their's a thing call "Showing too much". This team can do so much, it's gonna be hard for any one to stop. Everyone knows we are a running team that throws the ball, but which one do you plan aganist, Singleton is on pace to throw for almost 2000yds

    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
    • See why I don't trust my Hogs?
    • Come on dude, don’t take anything away from the kids on the field. If you want to talk uncharacteristic, we made what 3 or 4 errors in game one. Y’all had 2 EARNED runs.  Defense is normally our strong suit. Your ace didn’t strike out a single one of our kids. Like I said also, you did not out hit us in game 1. Hell you barley out hit us in game 2. We had all the uncharacteristic walks. Josh pitched a hell of a game is what made that game what it was.
