I finally broke down and got rid of my whisker biscuit.  Got the QAD LD last weekend and had it installed.  Tighter groups and alot less noise!  Hope to finally knock something down instead of spook it! ;)

The QAD Ultra Rest is a very good one but I can drive nails with my WB. It is also quiet but I don't know if it is the rest or the slick arrows that I am shooting.

if ur gonna shoot a drop away ripcord rest is the way to go
A Ripcord is the only fall away rest that I have seen break in the field and not from abuse. The only thing that the Ripcord Code Red has over the QAD is the price.

The RC is okay, just not the best out there IMO.

And I have never seen my WB fail.  ;)

I'm about to unleash the new Destoyer on 'em.

340 or 350?
I bought the 340.  A little more forgiving and it will accommodate a 30 1/2 inch draw length.  The 350 tops out at 30".

I have toyed with the idea of the 350. My draw length is 28" and the inch less of brace height won't have much of an effect on my shots. I just hate to shell out the money. My Diamond Marquis is still a great bow and is only two years old. I like the smooth draw of the single cam but the Bowtech sure looks like a good one.

I shot the 350 first.  I can shoot it with a loop.  It is smooth and scary fast.  I only buy a bow every 10 years so I figured I might as well get what I really wanted.  Don't shoot it if you don't want to buy it.

I went up to my property to put the finishing touches on the place topping off the feeder and brushing in my blind a little more.  Was cutting some limbs and didn't notice the dead stump about 8 feet from me but I stirred up the yellow jackets!  One got me right on my right eyebrow and one on the wrist.  Killed a few more before they could get me.  I am thankful that the whole nest didn't get after me like they are known to do.  In the years I forgot how bad they hurt but now I remember.  My whole eyebrow still hurts!  I am just thankful that no one was there to see me run like a chicken with my head cut off. ;D  Next Friday I will have a little medicine for those suckers!  ;)

I had one get me on the eyebrow and it looked like I lost a fight. My eye was swollen shut for a couple of days.

My wrist looked worse than my eyebrow but today my eye is a little puffy.  Took some benadryl and ibuprofen to ease the pain.  Still some pain today but not too bad.

I hope I do get something and I will post pics for you no matter what may fall. ;)  BTW,  I like the new name.  I see it's a trend and may have to consider it myself. ;)

I went but the deer didn't cooperate >:(  Talked to a few people and they saw some deer but never got close enough to shoot.  I planned on staying in the blind till about noon but the wind picked up pretty good so I called a day at 10:15.  Needless to say I saw 2 does between Buna and Evadale on the way back to Bmt.  Figures! >:(

i had to change my name back because all of my name changes were giving Ryker fits trying to tally the pick-ems.  i'm going to change it again once the HS football season is over :)

Well, i saw a ton of deer in Junction this weekend.  Had my new Bowtech and planned on doing some damage.  Missed a doe and then a big axis doe(complete misses at less than 30 yards).  Back to the drawing board.  But my son got a pig and a doe.  I caught more trash talk than an indian after mid-county madness.
