At NCAA tournament time, I root for ANY and ALL Southland teams.

I know the Lamar brass on here don't root for anyone, but the Cards - but we are in a conference and wins do benefit us all (believe it or not).

Terror, I think if you polled this board you would find that a much, much higher percentage of Cardinal fans will be rooting for SHSU or the Southland Conference, than will be rooting against them. Most of us understand the importance of the SLC winning in the tournament and what it means for future tournament bids. If the conference rep can make a splash consitantly for several years, then we (the SLC) may get an at large bid down the road if we have two equal teams with exceptional records, ala the MVC or SunBelt.
