just one before these pics were taken.  pretty nice deer.  if all of these made it to the end of the season, we're going to have some monsters running around next year!

avinger, texas.  it's a small town outside of Jefferson.  my uncle has managed the land well, and there are only 4 of us consistently hunting it (and my uncle isn't going to take anything but a monster because he has a west texas lease).  there's also another 250 acres next to us that isn't hunted at all, so deer have a pretty good shot at growing up these days.

this hog came back 3 nights in a row, and figured out he could bump the feeder and get all the corn he wanted... if it hadn't been at the end of the season we would've probably staked out and shot him.

I've got a few cool pics, but when I try to attach them, I get a message that says file too large(or something like that)  Any hints on how to post pics?

i always save them to my computer, and then go to imageshack.us    then i upload them onto that site (you have to make an account, but it's quick, easy, and free), and when you upload them it will format the picture for you.  then you can copy the link that it gives you for "direct link" and load that on here.  you just click the "insert image" tool when you're making your post, and then cut and paste and put in what imageshack gives you for the direct link.  hope that's not too confusing.

Now that season is over I would make it a point to take that big nasty out.  I despise hogs....all though the shoats are mighty tasty! ;)

Thats 2 different bucks (both very nice).  Look at the brow tines.  In one of the pics the right one leans out and in the other pic the right one leans inward.
