Nah rankings dont mean anything... besides its more fun to sneak up on people.  I know in 2A, Kirbyville and Newton are two of the best 5 teams with Daingerfield, Arp, and Muleshoe.  It would be nice if they brought both trophies back to southeast tx!

What are the predictions on this game.  I assume Guyer is the favorite going in but you never know.

Cross town rivals and all of the players know each other well so this will be an interesting game.  The key to this game is how much pressure Guyer gets on Ryan's QB Scotty Young.  That kid can flat out throw the ball (committed to Texas Tech).  If he has time to sit back in the pocket this game will come down to who scores last.  Guyer is scary because they are great on all 3 levels of defense.  I've seen both of these teams play and Guyer is the better team overall.  Should be a great game!


Guyer is the favorite and should win by at least 17, but I wouldn't be surprised if this game was closer.
