SPRING HILL VS CARTHAGE

Longview Spring Hill (30-3) will meet Carthage (24-5-1) next Thursday June 4, and Saturday June 6 in the Regional Finals.

Game 1 will be played Thursday night at 7:30 in Hallsville

Game 2 will be played Saturday at 2 pm in Hallsville

* a third game will be played if necessary

It has long been rumored that the officiating from mid-East Texas and north-East Texas inject themselves into the projected outcomes of ball games in favor of their local teams.  I wonder if this also means a number of strikes that are 12" to 20 " outside the home plate.

I am pulling for Carthage,  it should be a non-bias ballgame because they are from the same general area.
