You have to give it to PV. They have a scrapy team, and played good ball. Their starting pitcher went the distance and keep LU guessing all night. The bats were way too quiet for LU tonight.

Guess my remarks about a WEAK schedule and a MISLEADING ranking were right...

The SLC tends to win at a 90% clip against the SWAC in ball and bat sports. The top teams from the SLC do not lose to the SWAC. I really do not think much of Lamar this year, I don't think much of your chances in the SLC.

Yes, it's one loss - but LU does not have many chances to really impress outside of SLC play.
