Baseball America names Aggies Preseason #1

Baseball America releases its top 25 today...with local talent on 3 of the top 6 teams:

Texas A&M -- the preseason #1 includes LCM RHP Clayton Ehlert

LSU -- the preseason #2 includes BC OF Johnny Dishon

Ole Miss -- the preseason #6 includes WB Inf Tim Ferguson

Texas is #4, Rice #7, Baylor #8.  The Big 12 and SEC each had 5 teams in Top 25.

I would love to go to Omaha no matter who is there! I'd love to see A&M with Elhert, LSU with Dishon and UT just because.

I'm rooting for all 3 teams this year, yes even the Aggies.

I'd love to see Ole Miss and Timmy ...along with A&M and LSU.....

Rice may have something to say about who goes and stays home. If lsu gets Rice not good for the tigers bc Rice owns the boys from baton rouge.  ;D Would not have a problem if Gig'em goes instead of Rice but bayou fellers ate going anywhere.

LSU and A&M would play each other in Super Regionals, which sucks that both couldn't go. My wife is an Aggie, but I would love to see my Tigers go instead. Should be a good Super Regional though.

Not necessarily...if both got national seeds then they'd both host thru Regionals and Super Regionals.

I would think LSU, A&M and Rice might all be host super regionals. LSU and A&M are as close to locks as it gets. Rice might have to battle UT for a Super.

Lets calm down there!  I am very excited about the A&M team this year, but Aggie athletics has a history of not living up to expectations.  Should be a fun season for a lot regional teams!

      It has been frustrating seeing the lack of coverage from virtually EVERY media outlet.  We (Chester) are in the SE Texas coverage area.  There are no radio broadcast from our area, and Ch 12 is the only one that has even mentioned it.   I know I could have gotten donations to cover a SETX Sports broadcast.  Oh well, water under the bridge - we aren’t as big as Silsbee, WO-S or PN-G.
