Newton's QB (Flannigan) had surgery on knee 12-09-08 and now faces 9 months of rehab.

newton qb, my neph  anthony beard of lumberton had acl surgery about 4 + weeks ago& is doing

great. had patella tendon grafted from donar, hes doing great. follow drs protocal & u also will do

just fine. ac  has been lifting weights on upper body & drs rehab & stretching on  knee, good luck

& just stay positive & keep busy, no slack time. ps. my wife is from newton, so her family will  keep
