Did you know?

That Don Larsen, the only man to throw a perfect game in a World Series game, played for nine different teams, and had a career record of only 81-91.  :o

My personal (and my jewels favorite) Claude Berry in I think 1904 was the first player to wear a cup.

THANK YOU CLAUDE!

I guess in this case that's not something you would want your name attached to. "Wait I gotta go put my Berry on.", "Son to you have your Claude on?" Cup sounds much better.

Did you know the first home run hit in MLB history was by Ezra Sutton of the Cleveland Forest Citys on May 8, 1871 against the Chicago White Stockings in the National Association. Sutton hit a second home run in the game to be the player to hit the first and second home runs in MLB history.

To go with that the White Stockings later became known as those Lovable Losers from Chicago
