HJ vs. Jasper Predictions?

Recommended Posts

Bulldogs win..Jasper too strong.

Jasper winning is not a given, but the playoff experience from last year should now begin to kick in.  In fact, I think it did last night, Jasper winning 19-2 in just 4 innings at bat.

Yeah i dont know how they would have beat WOS without that playoff experience!

Jasper most likely would have won, but they might not have averaged almost 5 runs an inning.  ;)

You got me, your right you have to make the playoffs to score 5 runs an inning. I'm sorry for not knowing that but now that I do the next time a team scores 19 runs I will know that they have playoff experience. Please don't get mad about this post i'm joking with you :)

Anyways...i'll say Jasper 3 HJ 5

I'm not mad about your post, but it did seem like a putdown to WOS.  And I like my WOS friends.  :)

And 3 may be too many for Jasper.  I will say Jasper wins 2-1 again.  :)

This should be the best game of the year. Jasper's pitchers are rested, and you know they can hit... It looks like HJ will throw that lefty Monsey that might be going to Lamar, he is not as fast as Rogers but can spot up well and HJ can also swing the bat, their 8 and 9 hole are droppin bombs. Don't be surprised if you see 5 to 6 Yacks in the paper tomorrow............One thing is for sure you will hear Humplik yell   BACK!!!!!!!!!!

This should be a great game and the HJ line up can swing the bat, and the 9 hole doesn't have one homerun this year.

    • What the writer stated wrt crossover votes in the primary/runoff: "Covey and his supporters Paxton and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said Phelan only won because Democrats crossed over to vote in the Republican Primary for him. Paxton said Covey’s campaign identified “at least” 1,442 Democrats who voted early in Jefferson County in the primary runoff. Texas does not have party registration, but a voter’s primary voting history is public. The Covey campaign has not released its methodology behind its claim, but  This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up  by The Texan news website found that 9% of Republican voters in the March District 21 primary had voted in one of the previous four Democratic primaries. However, only 5% of that group had voted in all four previous Democratic primaries. What Phelan’s opponents did not mention is historically Democratic Jefferson County is undergoing a political transition towards the Republican party — the county judge switched his affiliation to the GOP in 2017 — so many residents have a mixed primary voting history. And Phelan’s allies in the House dismissed the idea that liberals swung the election. "I knocked on doors, hundreds and hundreds of doors, made calls for Dade,” Republican Rep. Jeff Leach, R-Plano, said on Mark Davis’ radio program Wednesday. “I did not speak to a single Democrat down here in HD21. Not a single one." "
