Why wouldn't you get them the experience? Obviosly the seniors aren't stepping up so pitch these kids to get the experience.

Tarkington is ok at best but you cant take anyone lightly in the playoffs. They have 1 pitcher a righty that throws about 82-84 at best with an ok curve ball. They dont hit the ball very hard but they do put it in play alot. They have a good SS who can hit and field well other than that they dont have much. JP should dominate and with that said Jasper 12-2 ;D

Don't take these posts so personally, dude. OLGabe is NOT a player, but he is a fairly good sports reporter that helps promote local high school sports in a positive way. He, along with the rest of us have no idea of the little "treat" you are referring to. I was by the dugout and did not hear anything. Let it go. So when BC ran through our stretching circle asking if we love the treat they must have been talking about something else? WAIT!!! I know...there treat was the win ;D.

HJ ,IMO, has to be one of the hottest teams in the state. Now maybe they will start getting the respect they deserve. BC and Jasper are talking reigonal finals they might want to watch out for HJ ;D

Hey guys ps this is the board about HJ beating Jasper if yall forgot...quit getting butt hurt about last year and worry about this year and Jasper you might want to worry about making the playoffs first. Jasper winning is not a given, but the playoff experience from last year should now begin to kick in. In fact, I think it did last night, Jasper winning 19-2 in just 4 innings at bat. Yeah i dont know how they would have beat WOS without that playoff experience! Jasper most likely would have won, but they might not have averaged almost 5 runs an inning. You got me, your right you have to make the playoffs to score 5 runs an inning. I'm sorry for not knowing that but now that I do the next time a team scores 19 runs I will know that they have playoff experience. This guy is good since we did have 2 games and practice all week but your right 2 days at the beach is killer to a persons body so i dont know how we can bounce back. We lost 2 games by a combined 2 runs to Silsbee and Jasper over spring break but your right we cant hang with OF.

It was more of a safety squeeze the kid bunted it and the runner froze half way down the line and the HJ 3rd baseman didnt look the kid back and just threw it to first

The beach he will try and argue with you probably on Sunday....
