  1. if they contain jacoby will get 5 or 6 yards a run. and if he gets that. then OF can keep containin becuase im sure the hawks won't mind that. hj-31 OF-14
  2. aww...im glad you can count gb. are you ready for big numbers? count our W's.
  3. Should be interesting.....I know of McDonald and Monnse that's their 1-2 punch... mcdonald pitches for us now? that sounds pretty good to me.. as far as our #3...our options are there.. you've got rico and lundy and there are juniors to consider that no one has even seen this year. we'll be alright- HJ in 2
  4. Did he start???? Not a surprise to see 21-3A spanking the competition making every other District Nervous... yes he did.
  5. if i remember correctly when i listened to the interview with coach bryant the night before the HJ/BC game-he said they were treating tomorrow nights game like a playoff game. to say that game was pointless is rediculous. any one who has seen monse play can tell you how amazing of a ball player he is. he makes the incredible plays and no matter what he finds a way on base. (whether that be a 400 ft. bomb or a 3 ft. bunt.) you may know i am from HJ so maybe this is biased. but i will say that Jackson and Bronson are both great baseball players and well deserving of MVP. but this is the craziest thing i have ever heard. and worse-from adults. congratulate monse and quit trying to take his award. this ticks me off. ill go ahead and let you know that i am HJ's catcher. i didnt get 1st or 2nd team and im not butt hurt. congrats to Phelts. congrats to Jackson. and congrats to HF's Catcher. they deserve it. but seriously-yall are pitiful. these are individual awards and Monse has the stats to back it up. if there was a "first team all district really good team award" im sure BC would take the cake. its very impressive to go almost undefeated in this district. but quit jumpin all over a 18 year olds case and support your team through the playoffs.
  6. we actually did practice that play. we practiced with a hackie sac earlier that day and prepared for crazy situations such as that one. and as far as his britches go... good luck with that one.
  7. exactlly. and he gave up one earned run. true- it was a bomb. but none the less- only one. and im not sure... but i think hj has more than one pitcher... idk. what do i know? but i think they are going to throw some freshman kid. pretty sure he's next in that shallow pitching staff over at hj. so Mr. BCTreasurer- where are you coming from?
  8. last year HJ found a muzzle. but tonight will be a great game.
  9. i concur. i have never seen a white kid jump like that.
  10. Actually, he has struck out once in the last 5 games. But he did strike out 3 times v H-J in the last game. thats what he just siad... he's never done anything VS. HJ
  11. this is gonna be a good game. cant wait to see it play out.
  12. lundy has hit 3 in the past 2 games. -the kid is a baseball god.
  13. well this is pretty biased too but- Monse/Hansen and Rodgers/Hansen the both have been playin catch for quite a while.
  14. In my opinion the fastest serve from district 21-3a is a close match between the dominant force of Ryan Weldon and the hurricane rita force smash from colby sungdren. Both players hail from HJ.
  15. good call considering he is a centerfielder. which is why i was wondering what was meant by saying he had a good curveball. but apparently critter found out it was Rodgers pitching...due to the recent change.
  16. Yes I was very impressed with the Roebuck kids great curve ball.... what is that supposed to mean?
  17. true...it's kinda sad that there will probly be 3 "premium" teams sitting at home come playoff time. there are about 6 teams in this district that would dominate in the playoffs. the state champion is def. coming out of this district again-IMO.
  18. Yes errors killed us. the first 3 runs were unearned. breaux did drop a bomb though for the fourth. but rodgers pitched a gell of a hame as well as hicks.
  19. who said yall were terrible? i think BC has gained the respect of everyone in this forum with the scores they have put up this year. they are a good team, no doubt. but this is 21-3A baseball. any team on any given night can be beat. this will be another great game. im saying HJ by 2. tied 4-4, then a walk off 2-run shot in the 10th.
  20. Because this is a public thread and I can post on any of these that I would like to. What, you finally finished your tailgating on the beach? I'm sure you were cooking for the guys that are better than you at baseball. Did you refill their drinks too and did they at least tip you for your efforts? To make this game related, I hope OF hits a go-ahead bomb in the 7th right through Hecklers windshield. By the way, you are not being very clear in this statement, maybe someone should pay attention in English class so they will be able to structure a sentence correctly. I can't tell if you are telling me to go make predictions on other games that I apparently have no idea about, or if I am making predictions on this game that I seem to not know anything about. If it is that latter of the two (that means the second one in case you are confused and scratching you head right now) sorry, I don't seem to recall predicting a score yet. I'll ask you again to please think and use your brain before you post, if it can handle that kind of thing. Alright Mr. English teacher, perhaps you should slip an "a" or a "the" in between "through" and "hecklers." This isn't advanced british literature William Shakespear, this is a sports forum. If you are so interested in our spring break, then yes. The beach was off the chain. For you english majors that aren't down with the colloquial language- that means "fun." The Hecklers will be there, just like every other game, with a windshield for the Orange Field players to fire away at. With that said- horndawg, you might want to take a "T" before you speak again. In fact, just go ahead and sit the next few plays out.
