and still loses 3-2.  We had a runner on 3rd with no outs in the top of the 9th and could not bring him home!!!  This loss sucks!!!  WE threw 7 pitchers!!

Well, that tells me the guys didn't hit the baseball. You can't ask for better than a 3 hitter unless they walked a lot of people.

Geez, that isn't good. I'll take 2-1 stikeout to walk ratio. But walking more than you stikeout is not good at any level of baseball.

gtj007, did you ever think that we threw that many pitchers to let some guys get a few innings in that did not throw during the weekend? this game ment nothing at all. lets keep the streak going this weekend when it really matters. put this game behind us...

UL-Lafayette is down this year so I was hoping for a win.  But it's a game LU could have won against a pretty good team on the road.  UL-Lafayette still has to come to Beaumont and play so LU can get their revenge then.

ALL games mean something!!!!!  Yes I know Coach G. used that many pitchers for a reason, to get them some work.  However,  leaving a runner on 3rd, with no outs, in the top on the 9th, with a tied game, on the road is what kills me!!!!  Speaking of Streaks, we all know where the LONG Southland Confernece winning streak got the men's basketball team, nowhere!!!!
