I was able to meet a lot of the girls on this years team. From what the girls have said, Tyler Briggs has them in great shape and also the new coach is expecting them to win. There is good talent comming from Canada and a few girls from JUCO's as well. Looks like this year the soccer team will make an impact in the SLC. Good Luck.

i know it might not be from a high school team, but i was at a lamar game and they have some good songs. one of the DH has the best one yet and a few more. having a rap song is a little childish. SFA85, if im not mistaken, Jacobi Brown (sorry if i mispelled it) use to go to Kelly and now he goes to Memorial for basketball. And he is one of the top basketball players in the nation.

SFA85, from what I see, Legacy/Cathedral does not recruit. Lt year they had 2 student-athletes go and play D1 sports. One is playing football in the SEC and the other is playing baseball for one of the most respected coaches in baseball. Both of these young men could have played at any school they went to and they would have started. And when it comes to the stadium, if the public schools were smart, they would let the private schools use their stadiums. They rent them out to the private schools and the public schools sell the food, so they are making money.

Eric Harington. Also the Fazio boy. Got the chance to watch Matt Hicks pitch this summer to some guys that were already in college and he dominated them so it will be exciting how he does this year pitching to high school players.

I heard that there are a few Beaumont boys playing at Lamar this year. West Brook's Josiah Svoboda and Cathedral's Nick Christopher are having successful falls their freshman year. Also from this area at Lamar is Nederland's Beau Helmke. Heard he is doing great also. I haven't heard much about anyone else. I was told there is another boy from Cathedral playing ball also. I believe his name is Jake McDonald at Howard Payne University if I'm not mistaken. Has anyone heard how he is doing? Also if you have any updates on how Tim Ferguso, Jake Rowel, Johnny Dishion, or anyone else from this area are doing this fall, let us know.

I had heard a lot about Thad Lycan last year, and now it seems like he is off the radar. Has he committed to a school yet or are any schools talking to him?

HJ should have a good team. Lundy, Monse, Roebuck, and rodgers just to name a few (I know i left some out) will help the team out a lot. All of these guys have experience on varsity and have a chance at doing some damage once district starts.
