i dont think that HJ has been playing as well lately as they were at the start of the season but they have a great coach and he will find a way to motivate them so i think they will have a very strong game and win by double digits to spark them for a playoff run

you must not have seen us agianst HF...probably the best ive ever seen us play!

Yeah, that might have been nearly the best we played, and it came at a good time.

There were four games this year in which I seriously think we might have scored 200 points, had coach not called off the press in the first half, said to heck with sportsmanship, and put it to 'em the entire game:  106-47 over Commerce, 109-40 over BC, 114-35 over Kirbyville, and our last game, the 109-50 over HF.  Our press was just devastating in these games.  The Commerce win was a real laugher because they had some pretty long, athletic kids who looked at our little players and asked some of them, "Are y'all missing anybody?"  Our guys said, "Nope, it's just us," and then went out and did what they did.  The Commerce coach actually asked our coaches not to call off the press, because he was going to use it as a teaching tool; but Coach Sutherland called it off, wisely, I think.

Our best game might have been the 66-55 win over #1 Tyler-Chapel Hill.  If we can play like that every game the rest of the way, we will repeat as state champs.

10 and lunch, huh. Predicting one to win by 10 and giving 10 is two different things. I'll go heads up for a round of golf and lunch. I need a reason to get back on the links, I haven't seen my golf clubs in 3 months. :(

Good thing that I did not get to the computer in time.....I would have had a round of golf and lunch form SCC!!!! ;D ;)

ya Hoffpauir knows wat hes doin...along with his father....give him a couple years and Commerce will be a force to be reckoned with

      Delusional and protagonist are words that come to mind.  You see I really do not mind dissenting opinions.  The problem I have with most of the posts you make is you just want to say something (opinion, law, etc.) is wrong and not offer up any solutions.  The problem with America is: #1 and by far the most problematic - we have moved away from God, and #2 we are not the “UNITED” States of America anymore. Division abounds and there are forces at play that want to stir that division and increase it.  People don’t talk TO each other anymore they TALK at one another.  I’ll gladly talk to someone that will listen, but have no desire to be in the presence of someone who is narcissistic and only wants their opinion to be heard. I fly no Trump flag, I wear no MAGA hat, and truly wish we had another R to vote for.  But you trot out Biden or Hillary and I’ll campaign for Trump with my own money.

      What can I say. Seems you can’t have a dissenting opinion here without ridicule. There is no debate. Just ridicule. I haven’t called anyone a knuckle dragger. I have used idiot a few times. But you see, your glorious two minutes was when I wasn’t disputing the lies you so readily adopt when spoken by fearless leader and his minions.
