So far in the district, the o ly team that went blow for blow with them was WB.  Apparently, their offense was clicking that night.   It yea, a special kind of defense.  A defense that our district does not possess…

BWB has historically played LP tough. Especially in Beaumont.

The issue this year against LP is you can’t stack the box to stop Simon, or they’ll burn you with the passing game. LP hasn’t had this balanced an O in maybe forever…

Yeah, Westbrook must’ve played a hell of a game. 
 

And facts on the defense part. None of us came close to stopping this offense.

LP will return all the skill players except the TE, along with all but 4 other starting seniors. The D should be back closer to LP standards next year with a full year of experience.

Unless something amazing happens, I don’t see any of us competing with LaPorte next year.

I know BU, WB, and Lufkin will be a LOT better next year with what they have in the  pipelines, however, I don’t think it will be enough to stop LaPorte next year.  But the scary part is all 4 playoff represented next year will probably be running next years playoffs…

There’s a ton of talented youth in this district. I expect it to be one of—if not the top—5AD1 districts in R3, if not the state next year.

I’d love to see LP vs Randle & LWC vs Simon. But, that’s a loooooong way off & many good teams to get through.

Man, yalls offense is chefs kiss. I understand we’re all a mess (this district) defensively at times, but man there’s too many weapons and that O-line is huge. Tough, tough out. You guys will have to beat yourselves or face a special, special defense to lose.
