Yes the stadium is beautiful.  Best one I've been to this season. LaPorte has something to be proud of. 

My son had a pretty good game. He got an Interception, caught a couple of passes and had a couple of really nice returns. He was one of the A team kids they kept down. I've been calling it the B+ team lol but they lost 12 kids to JV and 1 to varsity after grades. In 2 years when paired with the current 10th graders they're going to be a problem. The young QB we got has a chance to be special.  He's going to need to have a big game tonight for us to have a shot. Ill be back down tonight to enjoy the stadium.

You’ll have to keep us updated on him. I don’t keep up much with the underclass teams because they change so much. But, I do like to hear about how certain young men are doing, and I look for scores when people ask. Sometimes, it’s hard to find info unless you know someone.

Will do and he's put in a lot of work over the summer. His older brother plays FS at Texas Tech and helps keeps him focused. My main thing is just have fun and keep your grades up and it will take care of itself.

Lufkin is playing 10 sophomores and a Freshmen on Varsity.  Get your licks in now. 

 

You have no clue on how young BU is as well.  Like 4 freshmen were moved up before district started.  3 gets significant playing time and I believe 1 starts…. Also, BU has some heat in the pipeline.  Get your licks in now, you say?  Yea, alright.

We know how good your freshmen class is. Although our freshmen beat yalls 17-0. We have a ton of talent in the pipeline as well. Maybe Lufkin will get to stay in this district so we can find out.

Lufkin Freshmen shutout BU freshmen. Thats also with our best freshmen playing on varsity. Lufkin is playing way more sophomores on varsity then BU this year. These future games are going to look closer to the 2024 spanking Lufkin put on BU then these last two.

BU moved up like 4 freshman to varsity prior to the start of district.  Imagine if those stayed in the freshman team.  But that’s a moot point.  
 

and the 2024 spanking was vs a very bad BU team that only won 3 games in the year. They took woodshed beatings almost every week.  I don’t think you’ll see bad BU teams like that in the near future.  So good luck to your distorted notion.

LaPorte is just too good on offense for them to lose this one.  But I do see Lufkin scoring points on their D.
