I know LP wants to win. My main concern is that no one gets hurt. I wouldn’t mind an RSS win on Thursday either. Nothing against BU. I just want GCM and Lufkin to make the PO’s. But, I don’t want LP to lose to make it happen. The LP seniors have been through a lot with no home games for 2 years, and have still been District Champs & PO bound for 4 consecutive years. Y’all are getting ready to experience a similar ‘no home’ period. But—at the end & new beginning—y’all will be really happy about it.

I’m just going to say this.  You’re dead wrong.  BU could have scored 70+ that night if they wanted to.  Game was not a fluke.  It was just an extremely bad matchup for Lufkin.

I think styles make fights and Lufkin has a style of play that I think can keep this game competitive.  Similar to how the Westbrook game went for LaPorte. Of course we could look up and Simon has 200

If lufkin wins to me it won't be a surprise  if la porte wins it won't be a surprise lpdawgs  will win 48 to 21 we are not going to risk our backs on a game that really means nothing to lpdawgs 

Laporte DOES have something to play for.  The outright district championship.

BU could have scored as many as they wanted that night. But, it had more to do with Bronson being on fire & in tune with his receivers (who actually caught balls) than bad matchups. Coverage wasn’t bad. Bronson’s timing and accuracy that night was just better.

I saw the entire game.

LP could care less about PAM for the most part. Y’all are just another team. The only rivalry that LP really gets up for is the Border Battle.

I can’t say for sure because I’m not involved. But, I can say I doubt that will happen. It has little to do with PAM. It has to do with momentum for the PO’’s, wanting to keep the 3 year undefeated streak intact, and wanting to keep the 4 year District Championship win streak in tact for the Seniors. This group of seniors have never lost the DC in their high school careers.

Mainly, I think it has to do with PO momentum & continual improvement.

Its hard to ‘hate’ someone who has a losing record against you. 😉💪

No need since they get to rest there starters against most everyone in the district including PAM in the second half!!  Plus basically get a bye week first round of the playoffs.

Lufkin JV is the Lufkin Freshmen A team. We lost the JV team when grades came out. Our Freshmen where absolutely hammering these other Freshmen teams.

United was 12 for 13 on 3rd down and when you look at our scores against common opponents I think that's why some Lufkin fans think it was a little fluky. Not United winning but how much they won by. 

Lufkin is playing 10 sophomores and a Freshmen on Varsity.  Get your licks in now.

No. I think he only has about 1600 if I remember right. He has the current record of almost 2200 he set last year.

He is on pace for over 8,000 career if he continues at the current pace or a little over the rest of this year and next.
