We are definitely trying to be too cute & coaches definitely outsmarting themselves on offense, defense has been lights out. Offense has regressed since week 1, hopefully they can figure something out.

Not to mention a lot of these guys are now going both ways due to injury. I feel simplifying things by running the ball and leaning on your D is their bread and butter. #8 needs more touches and I don't care how you get him the ball just make it happen.

They were much better offensively with the QB2 in the game last night.

That was very clear last night. He has some wheels and I think running a heavier set with the RPO fits this team.

#8, #4 definitely needs to get a few drives per half just to mix things up and keep other teams off balance.

I can say this.OF qb is probably the worst ive seen for being a 4 year starter with that size and experience.

Part of it is the offensive line is much better at run blocking than pass blocking. The two DT’s for Buna had pressure on the OF QB most of the night.

That rare combination of size and experience almost always leads to high end college offers.

Cats have little to no identity on offense. They run the ball well and the zone read even better, but they go away from it too early in drives. Playcalling looks more like what the coaches want to do and what they want to see rather than what they CAN do. QB is inaccurate, throwing hospital balls and receivers are getting little separation but let's throw it anyways. I understand he's a 4yr starter and playing his heart out that's clear. They have a solid RB room between 10 and 21. QB runs the ball well with physicality and they have good athletic skill guys as well as QB2 who can fly on the option. I'd like to see some simplified creativity with jet sweeps, more motions, and just simply run the damn ball. The defense is really good as well as their kicking game in all phases (Kickoff, punt, field goal). It seems simple to rely on your run game with multiple guys that can produce, play physical bend but don't break defense, and a solid special teams' unit.

Here’s my take on the offense, when the passes are quick & short it moves the chains.
it was very apparent in the LCM game & Kirbyville. Then when you call 60 yard bombs, it never works, either a sack happens or no catch, then the offense sputters out.

Overall, very disappointing offense performance, in At least 4 games where the offense couldn’t score the defense score to break the game open.

but like I’ve already say… it’s high school football & all these kids are trying their hardest.
