Lady Dawgs Win Game 1 at BH 3-1 in 8 innings. Another heck of a game between these two clubs.

Game 2 tomorrow at LP at 6:30 pm.

BH picked itself up off the mat after Game 1, but still in a do-or-die situation. Just as I said earlier in the discussion, BH hitting has been inconsistent. 1 run in game one, 15 in game two...

BH intentionally walked LP's Arichiega all 4 times she came to bat & LP didn't make them pay. It really looked like the pressure--and LP's lack of experience in many big game situations with all the press coverage--hurt their play. BH obviously has experience in this situation. We'll see what happens today.

First game I've actually watched. I think I cursed them. Not watching today just in case. lol

It was sort of a repeat of Game 2. LP held BH down for three innings, (BH was up 1-0 after 2) ) but then BH exploded in the later innings. BH ended up winning 10-0 on a game ending HR in the 5th.

LP has a great team, no doubt about that.  I think our coach made a great decision to IW your slugger. She was not able to hurt BH. . One thing I think hurt LP was their huge celebration that went on after Game 1 at BH. It was too early, and I think it lit a fire under BH? Seemed that way.

In any case, BH takes 2 of 3 (1-3 15-3, 10-0), now movin' on to the Semis!

I missed today's game. Better 1/2 had to be taken to the ER. I did see the final score. Y'all's experience in big games really showed to me, and BH deserves the ranking. Good Luck going forward!
