Within days of Democratic Gov. Abigail Spanberger being sworn in, members of her party introduced a flurry of amendments looking to end mandatory minimum sentences for various crimes within the state. 

According to Jason Miyares, the former Republican attorney general, House Bill 863includes proposals to effectively eliminate minimum sentencing for manslaughter, rape, possession and distribution of child pornography, assaulting a law enforcement officer and other repeat violent felonies.

That bill should not pass.

I don’t care what they are called.  A whole lot can be said about that in this day and time about other subject matters.  
I agree that it is wrong.

They know it’s a bad idea. They want society to crumble, and with no justice system to punish crime, it will. The rape victim’s dad will be waiting for the rapist’s release, but then, he will be punished for killing him.

Purposely promoting violence and chaos, defund the police, assaulting ICE while doing their job and elected officials OK with it.
