Thomas Massie introduced articles of impeachment against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth mainly over the U.S. military actions in Iran, accusing him of violating the War Powers Resolution of 1973. Massie was also against Operation Odyssey Dawn, I congratulate him on being consistent. However, even though he entered congress after the attacks on Libya and the subsequent fubar in Benghazi, he could have brought articles of impeachment against Gates. Since he had Tea Party backing for his election, it stifle me as to why he did not.

AIPAC made sure he didn’t get reelected. I believe he voted with Trump 91%. He votes for constituents not for his party. The guy is a MIT graduate with 30 patents, very smart individual.

Yes, I understand his credentials, and Trump put his support behind Massie’s opponent. There was a vote and his opponent won. I look at motive. He brings impeachment articles against Hegseth but not against Gates. I only wonder.

I wasn’t sure of all things he voted against Trump, so I found this. He was defeated by an ex Navy seal. Disgruntled people sure have a way of calling attention to themselves. Why have a majority congress if people on your side turn their back on legislation?

Still don’t jnow why he wants to impeach Hegseth’s when he had an opportunity to impeach Gates. Will wonders never cease.

This path we are on economically is not sustainable as pertaining to fuel prices. I’ve read where truckers are talking about striking starting 1st October because of the diesel prices. If that happens 💩 will hit the fan. Hope you have plenty of food stored up. What a dumpster fire Trump has created!

I understand the feelings, but what does a democrat majority bring to the table? All they ever do is stonewall. Sitting on your hands is not governing. I have asked about their policies and received no answers.

I’m not a food storer. Have some friends who are. They are prepared for the apocalypse. Since Covid, I do have more than my share of toilet paper.
