Will Toyota Get It's First Win At The Cup Level In 08?

So. What do you guys think about Toyota's chances in 08?

It seems like their only real chance at a win in 07 was Dave Blaney's 3rd place finish at Dega in the fall.

Do you guys think they'll get a win this year, or will they go "OFER" again this season?

I think they can win in 2008. Would like to see DJ get one more before he hangs up his helmet.

NA$CAR will give Toyota some success this season.  If nothing else they will make rule changes especially for them.  NASCAR has catered to whoever is dumping the most money into their coffers for years.  They have been loyal GM backers, but GM is having to pull back some money.  Dodge was coming on strong 4-5 years ago then all of a sudden NASCAR demanded they change their engine layout due to the big chevy owners (Hendricks, Gibbs, etc)complaining.  Much like the late 60s and early 70s when Mopar dominated with hemis etc NASCAR deemed them too powerful and mandated they change.  Anyone notice Dodge was dominant in the Craftsman truck series until they were forced to change......Dodge then basically quit their factory sponsorship.

It was probably mostly Hendrick and Roush complaining. They will whine about anything. Of all of the cars I would like to see run second to a Toyota (preferably a MWR, Hall of Fame, or BDR machine), I want them to beat a Roush Fenway car.

Toyota will definitely get their first win in a points race this season. Probably gonna be a Joe Gibbs car that does it!
