Well, while he probably wouldn't turn down the job if offered, posturing to be Scott Carter's successor is not the driving force behind him taking the PN-G.  He wanted to raise his kids in a community that supports its school.  And with the possible exception of when PN-G loses to Nederland at MCM, PN-G is the perfect example of that.
