Who Wins Friday Between BC & LC-M?

LCM hasn't seen a pitcher like Angelle, and will not see one till they get to Austin if they make it. BC hasn't seen a pitcher like Elhert, and will not till they play Lufkin Hudson, if they make it. Common opponents were Nederland, as Angelle and Elhert both pitched well, Angelle complete game victory, double digit K'a and 2 hits, Elhert 2 innings and I believe 1 hit no runs.

Next you have have Haymond and Womack, again common opponent Nederland, Haymond was still coming around from TJ, but he was rocked. Womack went 4 innings, 2 hits and no runs.

Both teams can put the ball in play. Elhert isn't the strike out pitcher like Angelle, so LCM's defense doesn't relax as say BC's when Angelle's on the hill. This IMO, is where LCM has the advantage, once Angelle leaves the mound, BC will have to play defense.

hummm??? what a game it is going to be. Ive seen both teams crush the ball against good pitching that of 85-88mph. So i dont know what is going to happen. Both teams have great talent and excellent pitchers. Both teams are on a hell of a win streak this should be a game to be remebered. I say BC wins only because i watched what they did to Jake Henderson from kelly at the beginning of the season looked like missiles flying everywhere. Not to say LCM cant hit the ball they have great bats it shows 30 home runs in a season thats impressive. It should be a close one depending on who pitches after the aces. BC Over Lcm 4-3

I have seen both teams play and personally I think this will be a very interesting, but very good game. In my opinion, LC-M overall is probably a slightly better team than BC. If Elhert and Angelle can pitch 5 innings i can see the score being 0-0 at that point. The key to me is LC-M bringing in a lefty to offset the lefty batters for BC. If LC-M brings in a righty I will give the edge to BC. BC may be a better hitting team, but LC-M has a better defense. One very important note. This may not be a playoff game, but the atmosphere will be as though it is. Casey Jackson will be another key factor. I think Casey is a very good baseball player, but he will have a lot of pressure holding down the catchers position in a playoff atmosphere. I have confidence that he can handle it, so let's wait and see.

MY Boys from LC-M will be crowned Kings of Orange county once my girlfriend quits singing

WOS has a short left field line and Le'Money (aka mini-Pujols) will be keeping it REAL!!!!

Angelle and co. must be having nightmares about pitching to that line-up, I mean who do you throw a strike to ? Im going out on a limb, but I bet BC coach wont let Angelle pitch very much, because these Bashing Bears will give him whiplash.

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
