Ive been to some LCM games, not only do they bring a crowd but ive seen them get louder than crowds twice their size. fans are a big part of the game whether you believe it or not. GO DOGS! GO BEARS!

Cody Trahan hands down should be the MVP... very well could be the MVP for baseball as well, if she played it =). this girl is the real deal on and off the diamond, great person!

I like the way you think piratesoccer6... i think LCM has a great shot for the state title on both the softball and baseball diamond.

Even though the poll doesnt say it, LCM is definately the underdog in this one. a one gamer is a gutsy move by coach steve griffith but i like it and agree with it. im sayin Bears over Brenham in this one. GO BEARS!

i'll admit that LCM had better come to play to beat the cubs, just like they better bring their "A" game to beat the bears. both teams have had there off nights and if you ask me PNG could have easily won game 1 in the series they played with them and that could have changed the whole outcome of series. As far as luck goes everyone needs a little luck... even the "#1" brenham cubs.

BC is a very talented team and have the stats to back them up if you dont seem to agree... but to say that this BC team is stronger than last years Red Birds i have to disagree. not sayin that this year BC isnt good enough to beat everyone they play cause they are but if you could play head to head this years team vs last years i see last years team winning with ease. this isnt really an issue though both are/were good.. i just see last years team being better. none the less i wish the cards goodluck in the playoffs.

Like ive always said, "the only thing that can stop this LCM ball club is LCM themselves." when this team is playin ball the way they know how i dont see any team holding them back. Brenhams a darn good ball team and always are and it will definately be a good game but ive seen these bears play. their not just out to beat you... they love the game. goodluck LCM and goodluck to nederland as well...keep it rollin dogs!

PNGs showed they can play with "the best" no matter losing game1. the 8-2 score isnt a reflection on this game at all. this game just got out of hand for PNG towards the end... but i know all that matters is whos got the "W" in the end. Good Luck NDNs!

from what i hear they didnt take the game but were more less handed it at the end with costly mistakes. i heard powell did great on the bump. PNGs still got a chance... better put the war paint on though; to come back will definately be a battle for them. not impossible though.

Easy now bigredmachine not everyone from lcm talks smack, just like theres that handful of BC supporters that dont run there mouths either BUT YET theres still those that do... every school has fans/players/parents that are like that, surely this isnt new to you.... is it?

LCM didnt dominate the game but they did out play BC and considering LCM didnt hit to well BC i think got off good just keepin it 5-1. A pitching change was made for BC at the end and the sticks seemed to come alive for the bears. no need for an ehlert/angelle match up... womack was more than enough for the cards. great game though.. im just glad i had a seat.

Im 100% sure they have what it takes but like some have already posted... Its the bears themselves that control there own destiny. and yes LUCK is a factor for all teams that persue a trip to austin.

Ive seen both play... havent watched BC as much as LCM but i pick LCM to get the win. i believe LCM has a little better team and i just dont see them loseing unless they beat themselves... LCM-5 BC-3

I believe you can blame a coach on choices that he makes that may cost the team a game or somethin of that matter but as to blame a coach for a horrible season i dont think so. A coaches job is to coach and make the best of what hes got. sure you've seen movies where a coach turns average kids into stud ball players and wins wins wins but its not to often you see that. a coach has to work off what hes got and well... if you dont have much to work with then i dont see how thats his fault. "You can't change the cards your dealt... you just have to play with them."

well piratesoccer6 you have no arguement comin from me... lol you are crazy. I'd say LCM takes it in 5... Its always good to believe in your team though but ive seen lcm play and there to much a force for vidor to stop.

It will definately be an exciteing one from beginning to end. 2 great teams along with 2 great coaches... i cant see anyone leaving without a sore throat. I know i wont.
