The Big Sandy Wildcats look to take another step toward a 2nd straight state championship as they take on the Mason Punchers in this Class 2A Region IV Semifinal.

Jacob Hooker's Wildcats reached this round with a 2-0 bi-district series sweep over Mumford, an 8-3 area round win over Shiner and a 2-0 regional quarterfinal series win over Thorndale.

Mason reached this round with a 2-0 bi-district series sweep over Charlotte, a 2-0 area round series sweep over Riviera Kaufer and a 2-0 regional quarterfinal series sweep over Bracketville.

The winner of this series will face the winner of the Evadale/Refugio series.
