I'm looking forward to both of Dayton's bigger games. I mean, everyone would seem to have a reason for revenge against Dayton last year I guess, but... these two inparticular are going to be spectacular. I only wish I could make it down from SFA to see the Central game.

If you had an out of state visitor come in and wanted to take him to one game to show him what Friday Night Lights is all about....

There is no other game in this part of the state that rivals the Friday Night Lights atmosphere like the PNG vs Nederland game.  If you can get a ticket that would be the game to take him to...

But....

My instincts tell me that the PNG vs Nederland game will be for 3rd place...

The Dayton vs Central game will decide the district championship.

FYI...

The Dayton vs Central game should break the record for the largest crowd ever to watch a football game in Liberty county...

Can't wait till the Broncos and Jaguars tangle again.
