Buna was winning 2-0 going into top 6 but Woodville hit a 3 run homer & later scored on a wild pitch to make it 4-2. Woodville still batting. Make that 5-2 now.

That's what I heard from people who were there. Woodville's offense is just too solid to hold down for an entire 7 innings. They exploded in the top of the 6th for 6 runs, starting with a 3-run bomb. Gotta give Buna their credit for making it as competitive as they did though!!!

Buna made some good  defensive plays and Welty pitched well till the HR. Woodville hit the ball hard but Buna made the plays early but late in the game WD bats just a bit much. Very competitive game. Big crowd.

Buna has a very young team. Will be very good for the next several years. Started 4 freshman and 3 sophomores with some young talent coming up.

They gave us all we could handle ,a very athletic team . It's a shame these two team had to meet so soon. Class act , See you next year !

The only other two I can say for sure is Mika Maxwell and Avery Tolar, the first and second basemen.

Mika Maxwell 1st base, Avery Tolar SS,  Hailey  Tullos RF are the seniors..Gracin is a junior.
