Brownfield was not at state last year, they were upset by Chilldress in the regional final.

Yes, but I meant overall in the playoffs. I thought I remember something about a huge controversy.

Don't believe it was Browfield, I think you are thinking about Bridgeport with their 5 new kids that just happen to move in!

Had time to look it up, it was Brownfield I was thinking of. Last year their star player came back in December and played all the rest of the year while facing trial for 3 felony charges, including one with a firearm. Caused controversy if he should even have been allowed to play.

Kountze beat Aransas pass early in the year when we we were not playing good ball at all. I was really shocked the were ranked so high then
