Congrats Lady Tigers on the win. Coupled with the Orangefield loss tonight and with an almost certain win over Jasper Tuesday, the Silsbee Lady Tigers are district champs for the third year in a row.

Way to go Lady Tigers.... now take care of business Tuesday night, then GET READY FOR THE PLAYOFFS!!!! 

Silsbee has the most rotation of players on and off court than any other team in the district, and I for one think that has been the key to their success.  While they do have some standout players, their bench goes deep and they can move players in and out of the game - they don't have to rely on just one or two people to create scoring opportunities or handle the other team's offensive threat.  Last night they were swapping out three and four players during a single substituion without a hitch.  Props to Coach Killam for taking advantage of all the talent his players have to offer and utilizing it to move them to the top of the district.

Yes - the first game at Kirbyville 67 - 64 win by Silsbee - pulled it out in the final minute and a half.  Miss Kellum had 34 in that game.
