New Waverly had a bye last week. Two weeks to prepare for Newton but it won't be enough.

Yea..they should have an advantage as far as prep. Unless WT reaches into his old bag and introduces them to some unseen lineups. I expect some new looks if needed.What you think?

First is would like to thank both teams for choosing HORNET STADIUM to play at, it is a nice stadium for a school our size. If parking is set up like they do it for our home games it should be no problem we even have handicap parking on the home side but you might want to call the school to find out if it will be the same.  Hardin played New Waverly in a non district game and lost and we have also played Newton in district games in the past and lost. Not to take anything away form NW I think Newton wins this one , but this is HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL and anything can happen. Good luck to both teams and pray for a INJURY FREE GAME.  Dose anybody know who will be the home team yet?

Anyone know why the UIL playoff bracket for 3A-2 has changed in the last week. Last week I printed the bracket out and Newton was G 19 which was Newton vs  N. Waverly and now G19 shows the W10 vs F9 and Newton has been moved down to G21 which means Newton will meet Franklin the third game in lieu of C. Camden meeting Franklin the third game. Which does not matter because Newton can handle Franklin if we play without a bunch of mistakes.
