LCM-Jasper---  going with Jasper know very little about these 2 teams

Ned W- Lum W---- Ned W rolls and may break 70 on the Cup Cake crew....

Sr.

WOS- Jasper---- WOS

PNG W-  BMT--- will be close but I think BMT can pull it out, key will be to  get physical right out the gate and keep DB and safety at home PNG runs the play action very well.

Sr. Png v bmt---depends on how healthy bmt is.  Anderson and rivers can only do so much.  will make my pick later on this one but both looked good Saturday.

WOS will win by 2 touchdowns

Jr. --LCM v jasper----I think lcm will control jaspers speed.  jasper will try and pass too much to no avail

Ned.  v Lumberton--- cupcake crew has been working on his passing game lately.  should play into ned's hand.  more picks than completions against them this year.  Ned comes out on top.  both coaches top notch

peewee ---I have png dominating even though they lost a key player earlier in the year.

In Senior, I think the Indians will come out on top.  Especially if the kid that got hurt doesn't play.  It should be a good game though

Small school, I like WOS.  It may be the best game of the weekend

Junior, I like LCM to stay undefeated.  This too should be a good game.

big school, It depends if cupcake crew stays with what they are good at and doesn't change things up too much.  closer game than people think.

PeeWee, I have PNG winning big.

small school WOS.  this game will not be close at all.

I have said all along the cupcake crew was real deal. They will hold their own against Ned white. Coach pm me if u want to know how u can beat them. We have the formula if ur kids are disciplined .

After getting beat by almost 30 pts, i would fire the chemist that came up with that formula. Same thing will happen as it did against Ned Black the Ned W team will over power Lum W with their backs and O Line.

Apparently coach cupcake has a lot of secret weapons he hasn't shown this year.  will ned w be able to adjust?  word on the street is he has watched about 6 different game films of Nederland and the bulldogs are getting concerned.  I hope the bulldogs can stop the speed of Lumberton.  they are a very fast team.  Going to be a good fun game.   Will it be a chess match or checkers?

That week 1 loss can sometimes be the best thing for a team and coach.

If a team did score 80 in a shootout that's fine, but in a blowout to prove a point at the expense of kids, somebody would need their a__ kicked.

Neither one of these coaches would do that, and both have well coached teams.  Good Luck Sunday!

Well it seems that the cupcake crew is growing up and their coach realizes it.  He has upgraded them to the "cheesecake crew"(if that is an upgrade).   As many of you say, the word on the street is that Lumberton thinks Nederland can't stop the pass and have been working on it for several weeks.  I feel sorry for #1 if they really try that!  Also hear that Lumberton coach may copy some of the plays that Ned W runs, he really likes the look.

Team party after the game for whomever wins at Buffalo wild wings with cupcakes for desert.  ON THE HOUSE!

Lum W will have to play ball control and keep Ned W offense on side lines, not sure if they can do it for a full 4 quarters. Everyone knows #8 will get the ball , Lum W will take every shot they can at him to see if he will take the punishment for 4 quarters. The problem is #8 and #12 will be bringing it on kickoff and defense so Lum W better get ready for some hard hitting as well.  Both teams will be ready and it seems both coaches have the ability to

get their kids ready to play. Good Luck to both teams

Come to my conclusion from listening to the moms and coaches. Lumberton kids are playing to not get blown out. They r scared and will not score. They walked into the Super Bowl by the way it played out. There coach is good and plays the underdog very well. He will be out coached Sunday. Word is they will try to hurt 8. Don't really think that is coaches intention just how parents take it and what I'm hearing.
Nederland may not shut them out but will be up by 28 before half BANK IT

I thought I had posted for the last time this year but after reading last post maybe one more! lol

I don't think anyone is scared it's pee wee football for goodness sakes, they might be really excited.  Sounds like maybe a parent/coach is scared, and trying to convince themselves of something.

The Lumberton team took it on the chin early and has improved a lot.  The Ned team has looked great since day one.  All coaches tell kids to put hats on the other teams best player, so I guess they are all guilty. I still think Ned is the stronger team especially over 4 periods.

Go back to watching Oprah and get some real news to gossip about!  I'm out, good luck Sunday everyone.

    • are you suggesting that if the football coach runs spring drills then the kids won't play fall ball without supervision?  Because if not, this argument has no relevance.  One doesn't take the place of the other.  one the AD has control of, the other he just tries to.
    • I don't think it is overly hyped.. I am seeing less and less multi-sport kids when it can all be prevented.. A coach teaches l loyalty, work ethic, comradery, integrity, perseverance, etc.. to get kids to buy into their program. They talk about brotherhood and doing what is best for their community.... But some mean all of this  just for football... Kids see into this double standard and will quit.. either while on the field or off...  drives me crazy!!  and again... I work with these kids.. they tell me what they think.. so you can agree or disagree.. its their point of view!!
    • Hmm..... I tend to disagree. I was a multi sport athlete in High School and am now a coach. Kid is not going to be a very good hitter if he only hits in the spring and summer, I took BP and threw (to keep my arm in shape) during football and basketball season. Kid is not going to be a very good QB, WR or DB if he only throws passes, runs routes or covers receivers in the fall or during a few 7 on 7 games after baseball is over. And a kid is never going to be good shooter of the basketball if he only shoots during the basketball season. Skills are honed, not mastered, they need to be developed and practiced repeatedly.
    • and I'll concede that this is more realistic.  but a good AD can make football the primary focus without messing with the success of other sports.
