Just a question. Why will they not let the gladiators play in usssa tournaments or the World Series? Please can someone explain!!!

Hawk05 knows most everything about anything Display Name except who that all knowing Cardinal Pride is. Sounds like to me he's a big BC supporter. Ask the old whisperer he is the football guru. Lol

I agree Brady he is the best in the stjfl. Super great kid that does it all. When he's not scoring TDs he's setting up the blocks for his teammates to score. We all know Anderson is the best back though!

From what I understand the Ethics committee has to take into consideration what the other penalties for breaking the "spirit of a rule" where given. Nederland W coach was suspended for 2 games and a forfeit. The Bmt coaches 2 years ago got 2 games and a forfeit. Last year a new head coach on a first time offense got 2yrs and a forfeit. Let's see what lumberton gets because from what I understand board members are suppose to be held to a higher level.

And if I'm not mistaken they also had something to do with getting the Bmt SR first time head coach suspended for 2 yrs on breaking not even a rule but "the spirit of a rule." Sounds like lumberton will get and should get a little taste of their on medicine.

Spartan I don't know what you are talking about. None of the comments above where ever referring to lum w except them being the 3rd best team in jrs. This is all talking about jasper wanting to play us after the season is over and Brady trying to promote it. Having a little fun with the jasper coaches and Brady. I think lum w did a great job against us and knew they would all year. Verry aggressive and well coached. And thanks for the complement!!! I think I am pretty tough!!!

Believe me Brady I would love to put our team back together to show the nobody team what big boy football is about but we already have a game this weekend and next weekend in the cowboys stadium and dec 6-8 a AAU tournament in Houston. Tell them to play in Houston and we shall see who has the better team!!!

And Ned W doesn't want to break the spirit of the rule again on a nobody team that couldn't even beat the 3rd place team in the big school division. Bring us some real competition and we will. Move up to big boy football next year!!!

I agree with you 100% jag. But you know what? The STJFL is the best league around and a few jealous board members can take away wins and suspend coaches but they can't break the heart winners and that's exactly what the Bmt Sr. and Ned W team did. They proved the heart of a champion can't be broke and brought home Super Bowl trophies. Congratulations to both programs because you won't hear that coming from the board!!!

I'm just messy with you Brady. I think they did a great job this year and think they will continue to have great teams at all levels.

Jasper got spanked by lum w and we did the same to lum w. They couldn't even stand on the same field as us. They barley beat little old LCM. They had the option to play big school or small school and chose small and it was a good thing they didn't because they wouldn't have made it out of the first round of playoffs in big school. Good luck and stay in small school so you guys can get a few wins

Baba I don't think so. Chris is a great coach and will have his kids ready to go. They played Ned b the first week one and they where not ready yet. I'm sure he will have a lot of new stuff ready to go. Thanks Baba for the vote of confidence but we be prepared for anything

Ned w and bmt b will be a great first round playoff game. Bmt b has a great defense that will match up very well against our offense and their offense is very dynamic. It will be a great game between two good teams

That's good bmt but I'm not talking about making positives out of a lose. What I'm talking about is the positives on kids having to forfeit a game?

Please tell me bmt pride what positive lesson you learned out of this do I can share it with others?

I agree with what you say bmt and this is all I'm going to say on this. That I didn't realize and I'm sure you didn't either that the winning team when up by 39 should kneel the ball to keep from scoring or tell kids that catch picks to fall down or tell the ref if we score to throw a flag for 12 kids on the field. I know what you are going to say, find kids that can't score. This weekend I called back 1 pick 6, had kids that have never touched the ball or even played football running the ball and having to take slides.

I know the the magical 40 point differential was not surpassed in the jasper bmt g game. The board was just getting to boring and I didn't have anything to read all day so I had to start something. Even if it was I don't think a coach or better yet the kids should ever have to forfeit a game!!! Enough said!!! Y'all start flapping again to give me something to read

For as I can tell nobody is making excuses or crying on here. Just telling the truth, 3rd sting and extra points!!!

No they took away the win because you couldn't stop the 3rd sting or kids that never run the ball from scoring TDs. Poor thing!!!!
