I know ncaa and nfl, but we don't follow those so that doesn't help. vp93 Posted October 26, 2014 Report Share Posted October 26, 2014 A block below the waist is legal as long as you are lined up head up or inside the player being blocked. So a crack back block (a block by a player split out can not come in and block a player below the waist. Also the block below the waist must be towards the goal you are going towards. Of course a chop block is illegal: which is a defender is being blocked by one player and another one blocks below the waist on the same player.
