liltex
Since Huffman lost dist games to Crosby 2006=36-0 2007 42-0 I think Huffman w/great pass attack will have some luck in the scrimmage. At least I think they'll have a good reason to play hard BellBiz30
cougar14
Looks like Crosby has another star in the backfield. Freshman running back Craig Williams started and has 2 carries for about 65 yards so far. He's also wearing Austin's number.
cougar14
Pick 6 for Crosby on D. Crosby first team O has scored on all three possessions. Joseph Pickney shut down Chase Harrell, he's Huffman's big 6'5" UH commit at receiver. Huffman has a good qb but they're just overmatched. Taylor Perry is one of the best sophomore DBS in the state. cougar14
68 yard TD scamper for sophomore rb Carlos Grace. I think LilTex can go for 100 behind this line. Boys are big and nasty, definitely one of the best 5A o-lines in the region.
cougar14
Really liked what Crosby did tonight. Cotton could have built a camp fire in the pocket and the five or six transfers we've had come in between varsity and jv can all play. Hard to really tell playing a 4a team but both sides of the ball were pretty solid. Some guys definitely flashed tonight, hopefully everyone makes it through the season in good health. This could be another 10 win team if they play to the potential that's on the field.

cougar14
I'd like to hear Huffman's side, friend got a text Huffman gave Crosby a little troubleThe freshman squad maybe. Huffman's first team O didn't score and have up a pick 6. Crosby's first team O scored all three possessions. I'll post the video when it goes up on hudl. I bet the first two backs in which were the freshman and sophomore averaged 15+ yards a carry. Cotton missed once but basically carved them up. I think a complete game score would've looked something like 49 or 56 to 14.
itsallabouttheH
Crosby 2Huffman 1Huffman was 7-0 in the live quarter at the end. Both teams did some good things, both have things to work on. Dominance by Crosby, I don't think so.

mytwocents-28
Who would win if Crosby played the Seattle Seahawks? Oh well we all know the three all state players coming through the ranks would get there yards. And plus that huge huge oline for Crosby would totally dominate. cougar14
coug8bronco is working on those stats... He looks a lot through those rose colored glasses. :DUndoubtedly I was misunderstanding what was being relayed to me. Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait to post until playoff time when I can be in attendance again. Be back in November.
liltex
Credibility stock has crashed So you weren't even in attendance & trying to sell us Cougar stock off somebody else's opinion in a scimmage(glorified practice w/limitations). ;) Octfeb and Mr. Buddy Garrity
cougar14
Credibility stock has crashed So you weren't even in attendance & trying to sell us Cougar stock off somebody else's opinion in a scimmage(glorified practice w/limitations). ;) :rolleyes:I trust what was being reported. My buddy was there and can't post so I was relaying. I trust his football knowledge like mine. Turns out he was right. Huffman scored 1 time in the live quarter where Crosby was 2-1. They didn't score any other time while Crosby scored several and had a couple of turnovers to go with it. I've watched practices when I've got off in the a.m. and now I've reviewed all the hudl films. Crosby had 0 trouble with Huffman as the 10 other people told me, it could have been 49 or 56 to 14 with no problem. Here's the first play from scrimmage of the freshman rb and some of Cotton. Compared to some of the people on this board the last thing I'm worried about is credibility. Freshman rb's first carries - http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2530474/highlights/157164633 Junior qb - http://www.hudl.com/athlete/576711/tristen-cotton All of them look similar, Huffman has one highlight.
